Our green diamonds come in three shades; Forest Green, Emerald Green, Ice Green & Pine Green, which graduate from the intense Forest Green to the more yellowish, bright peridot looking Ice Green to the very pale Pine Green. As is the case with most COLORed DIAMONDS, the lighter shades are made using the whiter diamonds and are the most expensive. As with blue diamonds, green diamonds are created using the irradiation process only.

Tips on buying – Green diamonds are usually found with undertones of yellow or blue and too much of these undertones are not desirable. We manufacture all of our green diamonds to come with the perfect balance of greenish and yellowish undertones. Too much yellow undertones will create a yellow stone, but the perfect balance heightens the brightness of a green stone.

Yellow color enhanced diamonds are visibly similar to it’s natural counterpart making it very popular. Also, Yellow diamonds are particularly popular as they go well with both white and yellow gold. Our yellow diamonds come in just two shades; Canary Yellow and Golden Yellow. Canary Yellow is a purer, slightly clearer color which makes it more expensive, while Golden Yellow comes with warmer undertones.

Tips on buying – Yellow diamonds can come with undertones of green, brown or orange. None of these are particularly desirable; our aim is to create a diamond of the purest yellow possible. In order to do this, we use both the irradiation and HPHT processes. Because the HPHT process is quite difficult to carry out, our HPHT yellow diamonds are on the more expensive side of our price range. Also, black inclusions can easily be seen in a yellow diamond thereby these inclusions should be avoided.

Our yellow diamonds are divided into five different quality levels, priced accordingly, and are graded according to color and clarity.

Purples and pinks are some of our most asked- for colors but they are the most difficult to achieve. When we color enhance a thousand carats of the blues, greens, yellows and oranges we only achieve perhaps 2-3 carats of pinks and purples. Very few diamonds have the latent ability to turn pink or purple when irradiated or enhanced using HPHT, and even then most of them come in the more purplish shades which are less desirable and worth less than pinks. Our four shades of purple/pink vary from Ice Pink to Purple, with Ice Pink being the only one made using the coating process rather than the irradiation and HPHT processes. The Ice Pinks are a purer and brighter pink, whereas the irradiated and HPHT-treated pinks are more intense with purplish undertones.

Tips on Buying – Pinks & Purples come in a range of shades having undertones of red, orange & brown. These undertones are not desirable and are at best avoided. The scarce availability of Rose Pinks makes them more expensive than the Purples.

Our Stock – Our purple and pink irradiated diamonds come in Rounds of between 0.01 ct and 1.75 cts, and they come in a price range of five different qualities. They are rarely found in other fancy shapes.

In order to overcome the shortfall in supply we also use a coating process to make pinks. Our coated Ice Pink Diamonds come in Rounds, Princess cuts and various special shapes. We carry Rounds from 0.01 cts to 3.5 cts, and Princes’ cuts from 0.03 cts to 2.50 cts. We also carry Pears, Marquises, Ovals, Radiants, Cushions, Asschers & Emerald cuts from 0.50 cts upwards in coated Ice Pink Diamonds.

Cognac color enhanced diamonds are visibly similar to their natural counterpart making it very popular. Also, they go particularly well with rose gold, white gold and yellow gold. Our orange and red diamonds come in only one shade each; Orangish Cognac and Reddish Cognac. Reddish Cognac is basically a more intense reddish shade of Orangish Cognac.

Tips on buying – Red & Orange diamonds can come with undertones of brown and black. None of these undertones are particularly desirable; our aim is to create a diamond of the purest color possible. A lot of diamonds become blackish when we are making the reddish cognace and this low yield makes the Reddish Cognacs more expensive than the Orangish Cognacs.

Our stock – We carry Reddish Cognac and Orangish Cognac Diamonds in Rounds, varying from 0.01 ct to 2.5 cts. They are priced at four different quality levels depending on clarity and brightness of color.

Despite their relative cheapness, Black diamonds remain incredibly popular. Although almost any diamond can be turned black (clarity not being an issue as it is opaque), the result is a gem which is still brighter and more reflective than any other black gemstone. They are just as beautiful when set with either silver or gold, and make a wonderfully dramatic counterpoint to white diamonds.

Tips on Buying – Black diamonds are the easiest COLORed DIAMONDS to buy as they do not come in different shades. The main clarity characteristics of Black Diamonds are broken girdles or open cavities on the surface. It is the presence or absence of these surface inclusions that help you determine the price.
